Destine' Grobe
Head Coach
Destine' Grobe grew up in the cheer world. She began cheering on the sidelines of her former middle and high schools and later went on to cheer in college. Her accolades include being a 4-time All-American Cheerleader, NCA Cheerleader, and a Cheerleader of the Year recipient. In 2005 she stepped into her first assistant coaching position for Farmersville High School's varsity squad. She has since choreographed for various cheer and dance teams, and before starting the cheer program at Walnut Grove High School, she was the coach at Rogers Middle School for two years.
In her inaugural season as head coach at The Grove, her cheerleaders have already added many accolades to their name, which include, NCA State Champions Runner-Up, 2024 UIL 5A D2 Fight Song Champions, and UIL 7th overall in the largest division in Texas!

Destine', her husband John and daughter Mady have lived in Prosper for 7 years and Mady is a graduate from Prosper High School. In Destine's spare time she loves to redecorate and do DIY projects around her home and supporting Mady as a TCU Showgirl!
Emily Allen
Sub-Varsity Coach
Emily Allen grew up involved in multiple activities from an early age, but she would always gravitate back to swim, cheer, and dance. She has had a variety of experiences of her own in the cheer and dance world including recreational leagues, competition teams, and school cheer.
During her experiences as a cheerleader she earned top awards such as "All-American Cheerleader," but the ones that stand out to her the most are the awards she earned for "Most Spirited," and "Heart of a Champion." While at the time she thought these were less important than all the skill-based awards, she has learned to value these traits and tries to foster them within her athletes today. Along the way, she found her love for coaching by helping run youth cheer camps, teaching cheer classes, and holding tryout clinics.
Emily graduated from Texas Tech and later moved to the North Dallas area. She is married to a Prosper native, TJ Allen, and they have two beautiful children. They have a son named Jaxon, age 6 and daughter named Blakely, age 5. Emily has been teaching and coaching cheer at Prosper High School since 2011, where she is currently Social Studies Department Head, teaches AP Psychology, and coaches JV Cheer. Through the years, she has worked alongside multiple coaches and has seen many styles of leadership. She finds it a privilege to be in the cheer world, learning new skills and working with some great coaches and leaders within the industry. She is super excited for this amazing opportunity to open a new school and help build traditions to establish Walnut Grove High School and its Cheer Program from the ground up.
